Michigan football landed two commitments Saturday.

After South Carolina running back CJ Stokes posted about his pledge to the Wolverines via Twitter, local linebacker/running back prospect Aaron Alexander did the same

Alexander, a 6-foot-1 three-star senior at Belleville, held offers from Eastern Michigan and Marshall among others. He is ranked 23rd at his position and 78th overall among the state's 2022 prospects, according to 247Sports.

Stokes announced the news Saturday afternoon, writing "Ann Arbor I'm coming! #GoBlue."

Listed at 5 feet 11 and 190 pounds, Stokes is ranked as the No. 9 player in the state in the class of 2022 and the No. 59 running back prospect in the nation, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Stokes becomes the eighth commitment in the Wolverines' 2022 recruiting class, headlined by five-star cornerback Will Johnson of Grosse Pointe South. Alexander is No. 9 for the class.
