Barcelona celebrate after scoring against Rosengard

Barcelona continued their perfect start to the defence of their Women's Champions League title with a dominant win over Sweden's Rosengard.

Jessica Wik's own-goal gave Barca a 16th-minute lead before Salma Paralluelo doubled their advantage.

Patricia Guijarro scored from long range and Ballon d'Or winner Aitana Bonmati tapped in a fourth.

Mariona Caldentey converted a penalty before 19-year-old Martina Fernandez scored their sixth in injury time.

Barcelona controlled the game and limited their opponents to just 24% possession and one shot on target.

England full-back Lucy Bronze and former Manchester United defender Ona Batlle regularly made overlapping runs to carve out chances for the visitors.

Barca have won their opening three group stage games and top Group A with nine points.

Rosengard are still waiting for their first points and sit bottom of the group.

Portugal's Benfica are second in the group after they won 1-0 at home to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Barca host Rosengard in their next game on Thursday, 21 December and a win would qualify them for the knockout stages if Benfica avoid defeat against Frankfurt.
