Great Britain's Tabby Stoecker and Marcus Wyatt won World Cup gold in the mixed team skeleton in Germany.

Their combined time of two minutes 1.19 seconds was 0.37secs faster than second-placed Americans Austin Florian and Sara Roderick, while German pair Christopher Grotheer and Susanne Kreher were third.

Stoecker and Wyatt were also fastest in their respective categories for their individual runs in Altenberg on Friday.

They are scheduled to compete together in three more World Cup mixed team races this season, with the discipline due to make its Olympic debut at the 2026 Winter Games in Milan-Cortina.

Britain's Matt Weston finished second and Wyatt was third in the men's skeleton, behind Olympic champion Grotheer.

Weston missed out on gold by 0.03secs after his two runs and pipped Wyatt to silver by just one-hundredth of a second.

GB's Amelia Coltman was sixth in the women's event, which was reduced to one run because of adverse weather conditions.
