Protests in Brazil after more than 100 killed in police raids

Protests broke out in Rio de Janeiro after police raids on drug gangs left at least 119 people dead. Governor Claudio Castro defended the raids, saying officers faced armed retaliation and “didn’t intend to kill anyone.”
