Swansea City are poised to sign Manchester City youngster Jacob Wright on loan with a view to a permanent deal.
England Under-20 international Wright, 19, is set to arrive on loan for the remainder of this season and could then complete a full-time move to Wales in the summer.
Swansea hope defensive midfielder Wright will help fill the gap left by Matt Grimes' move to Coventry City.
Manchester-born Wright is known as a player capable of breaking up play while also being comfortable in possession.
He has made three senior appearances under Pep Guardiola, all of which have come from the bench.
