Syria’s al-Sharaa greets supporters after historic visit to White House

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa greeted flag-waving supporters outside of the White House after his meeting with US President Trump. The US Treasury said it is extending a waiver on Caesar Act sanctions for another 180 days, the most allowed without Congressional approval.
