Fly-half Gareth Anscombe and number eight Taulupe Faletau are injury concerns following Wales' 43-19 World Cup win against Georgia.

Faletau was forced off with an arm injury in the second half of the victory.

Anscombe suffered a groin problem in the warm-up that ruled him out of their final Pool C game in Nantes.

The fly-half picked up his injury while practicing kicking and left the field in distress.

Sam Costelow replaced Anscombe in the starting XV, with Dan Biggar coming onto the replacements' bench.

Biggar himself was not initially selected for the Georgia game after suffering a pectoral injury against Australia.

Anscombe had replaced Biggar in the early stages of the win over the Wallabies 13 days ago and produced a man-of-the-match performance by kicking 23 points.

"He [Anscombe] did some kicking before the game and felt something in his groin before kick-off, we will assess that," Wales head coach Warren Gatland told ITV.

"With Taulupe Faletau, I haven't spoken to the medics but it didn't look great, did it?"

Wales' win has set up a quarter-final in Marseille on Saturday, 14 October, almost certainly against Argentina or Japan.
